Energie Cardio files for bankruptcy protection

Fitness company Energie Cardio has filed for bankruptcy protection.

The company, which bills itself as the largest chain of franchised gyms in Quebec, announced the bid on Wednesday.

According to him, it operates 21 training centers, two of which are located in Boucherville and Place de Versailles in Montreal. 14 franchise centers and five corporate centers remain open.

Customers of the two corporate training centers that have closed their doors for good can contact the Office of Consumer Protection for a refund for the unused or prepaid portion of their memberships.
