A “French-style chateau” in Toronto has been put on the market for $22.5 million

A sprawling French loft-style mansion north of Toronto is on the market for $22.5 million.

Listing site Zoocasa calls the six-bedroom, 10-bathroom home “one of Toronto's most iconic homes.”

The property is located in the city's York Mills neighborhood, in the enclave of Bayview Ridge.

“Designed by renowned Canadian architect Gordon Ridgely, this magnificent property is truly unparalleled with unobstructed southwest views of Rosedale Golf Club and unforgettable real estate features,” said Zookasa.

The property sits on over three acres and features an outdoor pool, large fountain with reflecting pond, tennis court and three-car garage.

The home features more than 15,000 square feet of living space with seven fireplaces, a “Bordeaux-inspired” wine cellar, a tasting and smoking room, and a grand dining room.

It includes a sauna, as well as an indoor conservatory-style pool and hot tub with floor-to-ceiling windows.
