The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed Dalton Schoen to a one-year contract extension

Free agent All-American wide receiver Dalton Schoen re-signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on a one-year deal, the team announced Tuesday.

Schoen, 27, is coming off his second straight 1,000-yard season and led the Bombers with 71 receptions for 1,222 yards and 10 touchdowns on the year after being named Most Outstanding Rookie.

The Overland Park, Kan., native sat out Week 18 against the BC Lions in the Western Finals because of an injury during the Bombers' run to the Gray Cup, but ended up facing the Montreal Alouettes in the Gray Cup.
