A silver alert has been lifted after a missing Quebec woman was found safe

Quebec provincial police have confirmed that a silver alert for a 70-year-old woman who went missing Tuesday evening has been lifted.

The Sûreté du Quebec (SQ) said the woman was found “safe and sound” in the Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu district just after 7 p.m. “thanks to the work of patrols and information received from the public.”

The old man is taken to the hospital for treatment.
