A Silver Alert has been canceled after the missing woman was found “safe and well”.

The senior who was hit by the Silver Alert was found “safe and sound” Tuesday evening, Quebec provincial police said.

The Sûreté du Québec says the woman was found in Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu, less than an hour east of Montreal.

Police say he will be taken to hospital for “appropriate treatment”. The SQ is investigating.

The alert was removed about 40 minutes after it was posted.
