Glenn Campbell | CTV News

Glenn Campbell has been in the industry for over 30 years and has spent the last 28 years in Calgary covering sports in his hometown.

For the first six years of his career, Glenn worked in small centers, learning the trade and learning as much as he could. Glenn has worked in Medicine Hat, Swift Current, Yorkton and Regina. But he always had a goal of returning to Calgary at age 27, and his dream came true at that age.

Glenn, who lives in Calgary, learned from his former bosses Ken Newans and Russ Peek how important local sports are in this community. The perfect combination of our professional teams and amateur stories makes sports broadcasting possible.

“I am very happy to work in my hometown and to be able to do the job I love. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to cover a lot of great things.”

Glenn is married to Terry and they have three beautiful daughters, Kate, Maddie and Amy. Glenn's hobby and passion is golf, but he loves all sports.

Glenn speaks English.
