Crime Report: Gun and drug arrests in Winnipeg

Winnipeg – News – Winnipeg Police responded to a report of an adult male in possession of a firearm. Officers of the Central District Chief Patrol Police, who arrived at the scene, found and arrested the man without incident. Three other adults in the suite were taken into custody without incident.

During the operation, law enforcement officers found and seized the following items:

• Colt .41 caliber revolver (confirmed stolen)
• Air pistol (converted to accept .22 caliber ammunition)
• Collapsible stick
• Butterfly knife
• Ammunition of different calibers
• Approximately 60 grams of cocaine (estimated street value: $6,000)
• Approximately 56 grams of fentanyl (estimated street value: $8,300)
• Approximately 233 grams of psilocybin (estimated street value: $2,300)
• About $2,300 in cash
• Packaging materials

Payments and individuals

Caleb ROACH, 23, of Winnipegfaces several charges, including:

• Possession of Unauthorized Weapons (x2)
• Possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon knowing that possession is unauthorized
• Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition (x2)
• Possession of firearms obtained by crime, prohibited or restricted weapons
• Possession of a firearm, restricted/prohibited weapon or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order
• Possession of a substance scheduled for the purpose of human trafficking – cocaine
• Possession of an object intended for the purpose of trafficking (x2)
• Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
• Failure to comply with release order condition (x4)

He remained in custody.

Other persons involved:

• 27-year-old woman: Charged with possession of a controlled substance; Released with a warning about appearance.
• 29-year-old man: Released without charge.
• 23-year-old woman: Released without charge.
