Three people were killed and five injured in a boat collision near Kingston, Ont. – Winnipeg Free Press

KINGSTON, Ontario – Three people were killed and five others injured Saturday night when a speedboat and a fishing boat collided on Bobs Lake north of Kingston, Ont.

Ontario Provincial Police said the crash happened in the Bucks Bay area of ​​the lake around 9:30 p.m.

According to them, two women aged 21 and 22 and a 23-year-old man died at the scene.

Five more people, aged between 21 and 44, were taken to a local hospital with various injuries.

One boat was described as an open fishing boat and the other as a speed boat, police said.
