The Calgary Stampede's Midway Foods has been unveiled

The Calgary Stampede has released its sweet, salty and spicy menu.

This year, officials have offered a variety of sweet indulgences for Stampede visitors to “truly bold and unique foods.”

Among the offerings are takoyaki filled with meat floss, strips of seaweed, pickled ginger, cabbage and large chunks of octopus, dubbed “Cowboyaki” by Stampede Insiders.

“Bringing our unique flavors to the Calgary Stampede is an important event for us, and the enthusiasm of the community to name one of our exclusive dishes for this year made the experience even more special,” said Ying Yang Situ, Happy Fish's Events and Operations Manager. Catering, in a statement.

Some other dishes include Mexican Street Corn Ice Cream, Marinated Fried Poutine, Ferrero Rocher Bubble Tea and Cheeseburger Ice Cream – a meatless, vanilla soft serve ice cream garnished with onion rings and pickles.

In addition to all the new food, officials say Midway will have all the old mouthwatering favorites: corn dogs, funnel cakes, fresh-squeezed lemonade and mini donuts.

A complete list of Midway foods can be found online.

The Calgary Stampede runs from July 5-14.
