The Calgary Stampeders are hosting 2 free events this weekend

Regular season CFL action is just a few weeks away, but on Saturday the Stampeders are throwing a party with the return of their popular Fanfest event.

It will be held Saturday at McMahon Stadium from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fans can meet the players, hear from coach and general manager Dave Dickenson, take a selfie with the Gray Cup and enjoy many free activities including interactive inflatables, face painting, games . gifts and other items.

“We're excited to have Fanfest back and kick all our fans out and look forward to the season ahead,” said Stampeders President Jay McNeil. “It's a great springboard for other great events like Sunday's Red-White game and the May 25 home preseason game against BC.”

Stamp players will be signing autographs at select locations between noon and 1:30 p.m.

The Telus Studio has a barbecue and the Stamps Store sells merchandise.

On Sunday, the annual Red and White game will be played at 3 p.m., where the offensive and defensive teams will square off in various game scenarios.

There will be a barbecue after the game for Forever Red members. Entry is free.
