City of Winnipeg announces opening dates for summer water facilities

The City of Winnipeg has announced the opening dates for summer water facilities, including splash pads, outdoor pools and wading pools.

from Saturday, May 18most spray pads work from this time 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.mup to seven days a week September 2. Residents are encouraged to check the City of Winnipeg – Spray Pads website or call 311 for a complete list of locations and their opening status.

As for outdoor pools, heated pools are open Friday, June 21, excluding the Fort Harry Lions. The unheated pools are expected to open in a week, along with the Fort Harry Lions Friday, June 28. All outdoor pools are open seven days a week, weather permitting. Additional information on pool hours and amenities can be found on the City of Winnipeg – Outdoor Pools website or by calling 311.

Finally, water bodies in the city are expected to start opening in phases starting next day. Monday, July 1. Hours of operation vary by location. Locations and hours are available on the City of Winnipeg – Wading Pools website or by calling 311.
