Manitoba Weather: Expect severe thunderstorms in the southwest

Environment Canada and Climate Change (ECCC) says severe thunderstorms are possible on Friday.

The ECCC has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for communities in south-central Manitoba.

All previous severe thunderstorm warnings have ended.

The ECCC also added that there is a possibility of an “isolated tornado” from the storm. A pea may be the size of a nickel.

Residents are warned to keep an eye on the sky and stay indoors during thunderstorms.
