Technical issue affecting city services – Winnipeg Free Press

The technical issue affects Peggo card users on city buses, 311 service and some library services.

Winnipeg Transit announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, at 10:44 a.m. that the issue was affecting some passengers as well as its website and app.

“We apologize for any inconvenience as we work to get you back online,” Winnipeg Transit said.

The city confirmed the service suspension in a statement on X just after 9 a.m. Friday.

“311 is experiencing unexpected issues and is currently unable to receive calls. We will try to solve the problem as soon as possible,” the report said.
