Lawns turned white and streets flooded after severe thunderstorms hit Winnipeg Thursday afternoon.

After 4:00 p.m., the storm changed from torrential rain to a significant hail storm.

Marble to hailstones fell for about five minutes, leaving an icy roof.

As the line of strong storms continues to move eastward, more warnings are expected for areas in its path.
