Winnipeg Jets 2023-24 season preview

The Winnipeg Jets landed.

An 82-game marathon season was over and they were eliminated from the playoffs in five games for the second year in a row.

This team has a bright future, but head coach Rick Bowness hasn't had any other results this season.

How wrong were my guesses?

On October 10, 2023, I wrote a preview of the 2023-24 season for the Winnipeg Jets. I didn't project stats for specific players, but tried to predict where they would finish. I predicted that the Winnipeg Jets would finish the 2023-24 season and post a 49-28-5 losing record, which is really close compared to their true 2023-24 record of 52-24-6.

For a preview of the 2024-25 season, I invite you to watch at the end of training camp in early October 2024. I expect there to be a lot of changes at various positions for the Winnipeg Jets next year, maybe even some that are heartbreaking for the die-hard Winnipeg fan.
