Locals are debating which American stores should open in Calgary

Calgary has seen its share of American stores come through the city, but there are still some big names that locals want to open around town.

From Dunkin Donuts to Target, it's always exciting when a popular south-of-the-border store or restaurant makes its way north (we see you, Chipotle).

While we've enjoyed the shops that have already opened, it seems the locals are still hoping for a few more. A Reddit thread posted over the weekend has Calgarians debating what stores they want to open next.

At the top of the list is Trader Joe's with over 800 upvotes.

Others want certain restaurants to visit Calgary, notably In-N-Out Burger, Culver's and Shake Shack (which recently announced it will open Canadian locations).
