CP Holiday Train in Alberta

A popular holiday tradition is starting to spread seasonal cheer across Alberta.

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train arrives in the province with four performances scheduled for Wednesday – Medicine Hat, Tilley, Brooks and Gleichen.

The free live concerts, featuring Juno and Canadian Country Music Award winners Tenille Townes and Aisanabee, last approximately 30 minutes, and volunteers will be on hand to collect cash and non-perishable food donations from concertgoers for local food banks.

The train heads north for shows throughout the week before arriving in Calgary on Sunday.

  • Lacombe;
  • Ponoka;
  • Wetaskivin;
  • millet; and,
  • Leduc


Friday, December 9


Sunday, December 11

  • Calgary-Anderson Railway Station


Tuesday, December 13 (Tenil Towns and Virginia to Vegas)

  • Cochran;
  • Stoney Nakoda;
  • Canmore; and,
  • Banff.

The holiday train will then continue west for a few shows in BC
