Manitoba RCMP: Teens charged with second-degree murder

EASTERVILLE –

Two teenage girls are facing charges of second-degree murder and attempted murder in a northern Manitoba community.

RCMP say the girls, ages 13 and 14, are in custody.

Officers were called to a domestic disturbance in Pasteurville, southeast of Pass, early Saturday morning.

They found a 32-year-old woman with serious injuries, who died at the scene.

According to the police, the second victim, a 35-year-old woman, was found nearby with injuries.

He was taken to a Winnipeg hospital in stable condition.
