Calgary site for Saturday night's Red Bull BC One qualifier

Calgary will be the scene of a dance battle on Saturday night.

This is where the Red Bull BC One Qualifiers will take place, with the Calgary B-Boys and B-Girls competing against each other.

The event is one of three qualifiers for the national finals on May 24 in Toronto. It will all be part of a high-profile spring in what will be a first-time Olympic event, with Vancouver's Phil Vizard representing Canada in Paris.

The winner will look to join Calgary B-Girl Sasha Foxx and B-Boy Fressie, who both qualified for the national finals in Toronto.

Red Bull BC One is an individual breaking competition with dancers from all over the world. This year's world final will be held on December 7 in Rio de Janeiro.

Saturday's event will be held at 7pm at The Brownstone, 120-221 10th Ave SE.
