Audra Cimbalisti was charged with conspiracy to commit murder

A central Alberta woman is facing charges after allegedly asking someone to kill another person.

RCMP say they began their investigation on February 12.

Two weeks later, on February 28, RCMP charged Carstairs resident Audra Simbalisti, 59, with two counts of conspiracy to commit murder.

Cimbalisti remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in Okotoks court on March 1.

Carstairs is about 60 kilometers north of Calgary.
