HAMILTON – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed All-American defensive lineman Dewayne Hendricks to a two-year contract.

The move came on Wednesday, the second day of CFL free agency.

Hendricks, 27, had 22 tackles (four for loss), six sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 15 regular-season games with Toronto last year.

The six-foot-four, 270-pound Hendricks spent three seasons with the Argonauts, starting 37 of 38 contests.

He racked up 64 tackles (10 for loss), eight sacks, one forced fumble and one tackle.
