CF Toronto Eaton Center welcomes Queen's Cross Food Hall on April 24

TORONTO, April 17, 2024 /CNW/ – The long-awaited food hall is coming to the CF Toronto Eaton Center next week. Queen's Cross Food Hallculinary culinary concept Oliver and Bonacini (O&B) will be opened to the public Wednesday, April 24 at 7 in the morning— just in time for coffee and breakfast. The 19,000-square-foot space, located on the south side of the mall's lower level, will feature 13 unique food stalls, two revolving pop-up stalls, a stylish bar and cafe, and seating for 300 guests.

Inspired by its proximity to Queen subway station, the food hall's name and design are meant to convey the bustling feel of a cosmopolitan train station. This impressive experience brought to life Solid design is creative, and marked with dynamic customizable signage and an ever-changing split shield panel—a take on the classic departure panel found in busy transit hubs. Each food stall's facade is thoughtfully designed to reflect its individual brand — from bistro-style wood paneling at Maison Selby-inspired Le Petit Cornichon to colorful mosaic tiles at Lala's Cantina, an offshoot of Leña Restaurante. Evoking the atmosphere of a street cafe, diners can enjoy the comfort of wooden banquettes and green leather chairs — all nestled between custom metal arches and column lighting. Small details, such as the classic terrazzo floor in the space with its own brass logo, ensure a dynamic look from many angles.
