The Jets beat the Kraken 4-3 to take second place in the Central Division

Connor's pair of markers extended his point streak to eight games, including four goals and eight assists.

Ehlers scored a goal and Mark Scheifele and Josh Morrissey had a pair of assists.

Connor Hellebuyck made 20 saves for the Jets, who close out the regular season Thursday at home against the Vancouver Canucks.

Yanni Gourde had a goal and an assist, while Thomas Tatar and Ty Cartier also scored for the Kraken (33-35-13). Brandon Tanev had two assists.

Grubauer stopped 20 shots for Seattle, which lost its fourth straight game and ended its season without the playoffs Thursday against the Wild.

Winnipeg led 2-1 after the first period, and went into the third period tied 3-3.

Connor scored his 33rd goal of the season at 10:33 after a high shot past Grubauer.

Tatar tied it with 1:22 left, but Connor finished with his second of the night with 5.8 seconds left on the clock.

Seattle beat the Jets 8-6 in the opening period.

Ehlers scored 2:30 into the second period to make it 3-1, but Seattle responded with a goal by Gurd at 5:11.

Gourde and Cartier then got in on Hellebuye alone, Gourde fed the puck to Cartier for the goal with 1:47 left in the period.

Both teams missed opportunities early in the third period, with Seattle picking up a loose puck and unable to put it into an open Winnipeg net.

Morrissey's shot hit the crossbar on Winnipeg's second man advantage of the game, but Toffoli made it 4-3 with his 33rd goal of the season at 11:40.

The Jets then went on a four-minute power play when Kraken Ryker Evans stuck hard.

Jets veteran forward Nino Niederreiter is back on the ice after missing the last five games because of a cut on his skate that tore his Achilles tendon. … Winnipeg forward Morgan Barron left the game in the first period and did not return with a lower-body injury. … Tatar's goal ended Winnipeg's streak at 151 minutes, 19 seconds.
