Palestinian protesters shut down West Side rail, GO and UP Express uninjured: Toronto police

A pro-Palestinian protest group blocked the railway line on the west side of the city.

Toronto police confirmed that between 100 and 120 demonstrators were blocking the roads at Pelham Avenue and Ulser Street near Dupont Street and West Dundas Street.

GO Transit and UP Express will not be affected, police said.

Police are on the scene, but no arrests have been made yet.

Police closed Ulser Street from Caribou Avenue to Linder Street and Pelham Avenue at Uxbridge Avenue.
