Police say two men, one 54, face charges after stealing two cars in Toronto – Winnipeg Free Press

Toronto police have laid a total of 54 charges against three men who allegedly stole two luxury cars and carjacked the victim in their own car.

Sup. Andy Singh said the first carjacking happened on April 6 around 2:00 p.m. in a parking lot in a neighborhood on the east side of Scarborough.

As the driver of the BMW X5 was leaving his car, four men approached him, pointed a gun at him and demanded his keys, before fleeing in the BMW they were driving and a white SUV.

Five days later, police say four suspects attacked the owner of a Lamborghini Urus at a gas station in the North York area, then ran over the victim in his car, leaving him with non-life-threatening injuries and driving away. .

Singh said investigators on patrol the next day in Toronto's Black Creek neighborhood, west of where the first carjacking occurred, received a report that a Lamborghini Urus had been reported stolen.

According to police, who tracked the vehicle to a nearby gas station, the suspects, who were driving a stolen BMW X5, also arrived at the area, then ran away from approaching officers and crashed into the officers' car.
