An arrest has been made in the Toronto police investigation into the carjacking

Toronto police have announced 54 charges against three suspects after a carjacking investigation that ended with a dramatic arrest when several police cars were destroyed as the suspects attempted to flee.

More than $18,000 in Canadian currency and several handguns were seized during the investigation, police said.
