Abbey's Creations just opened a new location in Calgary

Calgary-based artisan ice cream shop Abbey's Creations has opened a new location in the city.

The new eatery at 1800 4th Street SW offers a premium selection of ice cream infused with bold and unique flavors like churro crunch, Vietnamese coffee and ubequeso.

Abbey's Creations offers extravagant ice cream with endless toppings like cream, syrup and cherries. It also offers milkshakes, decadent ice cream cakes and delicious cupcakes.

While the store is open, the Abbey's Creations Mission location will hold a grand opening on Saturday, April 20, starting at noon.

As part of the festivities, the first 30 people in line will get free ice cream, and there will be free “get one” discounts on any size ice cream. Children under 10 also get free ice cream on April 20 and 21.

In addition to the new Mission location, Abbey's Creations will open a new location this spring in Sage Hill, marking its ninth location.
