Burt's Block Parties are returning to downtown Winnipeg

Downtown Winnipeg's biggest concert series returns this summer with four nights of live music.

The Burt block parties Runs August 22-25 and covers the topics Blue Rodeo, Arkells, Marketsand Tom Cochrane.

Events take place outside the Burton Cummings Theater each night, which has room for 4,000 fans. New this year, full festival tickets are available for fans who want to enjoy all Burt Block Party shows.

“Burt Block Parties have become a beloved tradition where our city gathers to watch their favorite bands perform against the stunning backdrop of the Winnipeg skyline. Each year we carefully fine-tune and improve this event and we look forward to everyone enjoying what we have in store for this year.”

Acts confirmed to date:

• Thursday. August 22 – Blue Rodeo, Skydiggers, Indian City and guests.
• Friday 23rd August – Arkells, July Story, Blue Stones, Hailey.
• Saturday. August 24 – Heroes, I, Mother Earth, and guests.
• Sun. August 25 – Tom Cochrane, Streetheart, Sass Jordan and guests.

Early bird ticket prices include a $30 discount on tickets starting Friday, April 19 at Ticketmaster. Tickets go on sale that day at 10 a.m. starting at $59.50, including fees. The pre-sale runs until Wednesday, May 1.

Festival goers will enjoy a fully licensed site, food trucks and select vendors to add to the festival atmosphere.
