“That's just the tip of the iceberg on your moral compass. It's a good indicator of how you see the world,” O'Connor said.

Attorney Romano noted that Lee, Carafa and a third man, Pratt, were all suing him for a $470,000 financial heist involving a fake PPE scam. O'Connor noted that the money he is seeking is the proceeds of crime.

Romano previously told the court that she and Pratt shared everything, including money, especially after she stopped undressing at her new boyfriend's request. He noted that he received $100,000 for the fatal fraud.

“I made my money legitimately,” he told O'Connor before finally admitting, “Okay, sure.”

During the eight-week trial, Romano seemed to ignore the fact that Pratt was a major international drug trafficker based in Vancouver. O'Connor noted that he had committed “sins of omission”.

“What if leave?” he asked.

Romano later noted, “I really loved him, he was a good guy.” He said that he was devoted to his family, that his son played hockey and that he wanted to live a good life.

“He wasn't your typical drug dealer, he was strictly business,” Romano said.

“So Tyler was a good drug dealer,” O'Connor asked.

Earlier, Zita weighed in on Romano and Pratt's relationship and the huge fortunes they've amassed for themselves. Romano said he made $250,000 a year stripping, but that's not what Pratt made selling cocaine.

He also had a company called Black Empire Trucking, but the big bucks took a hit. He once made $1 million in one day pushing Bolivian marching powder, Romano testified.

Zita said Pratt had big ties to West Coast drug gangs and suggested Romano may have been a member of the Wolverine Pack, infamous for a tattoo he said was a lion, not a wolf.

Romano said he wasn't afraid of being killed by the gang, despite the rods and brass pins in Pratt's homes. No, he didn't want her to go to jail.

In the fall of 2021, Pratt, Romano, his friend from Vancouver, and his girlfriend took a trip to Dubai. Pratt saturated Romano with gold and even bought a few small bars.

A Vancouver friend of high-profile Lotusland mobster Milad “Mo” Rahimi was swept away on March 12, 2022, in front of stunned shoppers in a parking lot when a gunman opened fire on him several times around 2:45 p.m.

After Pratt was cut, police searched the couple's Yorkville apartment. Inside the spare bedroom were drawers and boxes of luxury goods.

They had needles in their beds. Pratt likes to be hot and pump testosterone.

High fashion, low rent. The trial continues.
