The Taradale shooting is under investigation by Calgary police

Calgary police are searching for suspects after a shooting in the community of Taradale on Monday.

At 1:30 a.m., shots were fired outside a home in the 0 to 100 block of Tararidge Court.

Police found several rounds of ammunition that may have hit the residence.

There were no injuries, and the suspects left the scene by the time the police arrived.

In a press release Monday, police said the shooting is believed to be a targeted incident related to an organized crime dispute.

“Our efforts to end gun violence rely on strong community support,” police said. “If you have information that could help the investigation, such as witnessing suspicious activity or vehicles, please contact the police. Even something small can have a big impact on an investigation.”

Anyone with information or surveillance footage of Monday's shooting is asked to call police at 403-266-1234.
