Flame sign Goalkeeper Valteri Ignatev

The Flames announced today that they have signed goaltender Valteri Ignatev to a one-year, two-way contract.

A native of Helsinki, Finland, Ignatev appeared in 45 games for Mora IK in Sweden's Allsvenskan league, posting a 2.34 GAA, .918 save percentage and a 26-18-0 record. The 24-year-old was named the Hockey Allsvenskan Goaltender of the Year for the 2023-24 season, making 1,142 saves and 2,615 minutes of ice time, leading all goaltenders in the league.
