Police recently arrested a suspect who committed sexual assault in the subway

Police have made arrests in connection with two recent sexual assault investigations in Toronto's subway system.

The first incident happened on April 11 at around 13:10.

Police say the female victim was approached and sexually assaulted by a suspect at Islington train station.

The second incident happened on April 13 at around 15:50.

This time, according to the police, another victim, a woman, was sexually assaulted by a suspicious man while she was riding a northbound train approaching the Museum station.

Police released an image of the suspect on Sunday morning as they launched an appeal for information in the case.

The suspect was arrested later that day, police said in a news release Monday morning.

Ram Tweezer, of no fixed address, is facing two counts of sexual assault.

The suspect's age has not been released.

Police are continuing to investigate and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
