A protester has been spotted making a Nazi salute at an anti-Israel rally in Calgary

An anti-Israel protester was seen giving a Nazi salute at a rally in Calgary, a day after Iran attacked Israel with dozens of drones and missiles.

A man was seen smiling and giving a Nazi salute as anti-Israel protesters gathered in downtown Calgary yesterday. He was also holding his picture Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has previously called Israel a “cancer” that needs to be destroyed.

Although many police officers were at the scene, the man was not arrested or questioned. Commenting on the story at X, Rebel News CEO Ezra Levant said:There is a direct line from Calgary's disgraced mayor @JyotiGondek boycotting the Jewish community's Hanukkah event to this Islamo Nazi sentiment.

Mr. Levant also compared the strong media reaction in the past and the report of the Nazi flag being seen at the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa to zero coverage of the event. He explained that the former media “went crazy” on the Nazi flag-wielding provocateur during the Freedom Convoy, and the incident got “nothing.”

Trudeau passed out in a media truck convoy when an agent provocateur unfurled a Nazi flag long enough for a liberal photographer to photograph it.

Since the October 7 terrorist attacks on Israel by Hamas, anti-Israel protesters across Canada have repeatedly been met with anti-Semitic chants and limited response from law enforcement.

One Toronto police officer was even seen handing coffee to an anti-Israel protester blocking a road leading to a predominantly Jewish neighborhood.

At the time of writing, neither Calgary Mayor Jyoti Gondek nor Calgary Police have publicly commented on the incident. Rebel News has reached out to both Calgary police and the mayor's office for comment and will provide an update once responses are received.

Despite not reacting to the incident, Gondek had earlier cracked down on peaceful protesters demonstrating against a “drake van plot” involving young children through new municipal laws.

The mayor also supported an ordinance banning the use of noise and noise-making devices at protests beginning in 2022.
