The Coyotes will travel to Calgary in their final road game as an Arizona franchise

The Arizona Coyotes, in their final road game as an Arizona franchise, fell to the Calgary Flames 6-5 on Sunday.

The Coyotes (35-41-5) return home for their final regular-season game, possibly their last in Arizona, on Wednesday at Mullett Arena when they host the Edmonton Flames at 7 p.m.

As part of an ongoing effort to secure a new arena in the Phoenix area, reports surfaced late Friday that the franchise would move to Salt Lake City after its regular season ends Wednesday.

Calgary's Nazem Kadri hit two consecutive three-pointers in the third period and Andriy Kuzmenko scored once to lead host Calgary on Sunday against Arizona. Matt Coronato, Connor Zari and Egor Sharangovic scored for the Flames, who have won two straight and three of four.

Dylan Guenther recorded his first career multi-goal game with a pair of goals, while Alex Kerfoot, Mathias McChelli and Josh Doan scored for the Coyotes.
