Anthony Campaniaris has been named general manager of Hotel 1 Toronto

Seasoned hotel manager Anthony Campaniaris has taken on the role of General Manager Toronto for the perennially iconic downtown hotel 1 Hotel, ranked as the #1 hotel in Toronto by US News & World Report. Companiaris oversees the day-to-day operations of the entire property, including the hotel's four unique dining venues: a sustainably managed, zero-waste restaurant, Kitchen 1, a lobby bar with seasonal cocktails and snacks, the Flora Lounge, TripAdvisor's #1 Mexican restaurant in Toronto, Casa Madera, and a luxury rooftop space. , Harriet's Rooftop. With 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Campaniaris brings a wealth of experience from key leadership roles at some of Toronto's finest hotels. His previous positions include Director of Hotel Operations at the Hazelton Hotel and Director of Sales and Business Development at the Shangri-LA Hotel, and he was instrumental in the opening of Anndor House. Campaniaris has also worked internationally with Nobu Hospitality, contributing to the success of Nobu Hotels in Warsaw and Santorini.
