Victim seriously injured in east Toronto attack, suspect

Police are searching for a suspect who attacked and seriously injured another man in east Toronto over the weekend.

The incident happened Sunday near O'Connor Drive and Wakunda Place, west of Victoria Park Avenue.

Toronto police say they responded to a call about an unknown disturbance in the area around 1 a.m

According to the investigators, the man attacked another person and fled the scene.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries,” they say.

Lemarr Fields-Gabriel, 35, whose address has not been released, is wanted for aggravated assault.
