For those who love to find great retro clothing and homewares, here's enRoute's great guide to Montreal's Mile End vintage shops. The story came out at the end of 2022, but it seems that all the stores are still concerned. And the goods range from a 1950s apron for $25 to a Chanel bag for $2,475.

Find travel discounts on this Globe and Mail site

Here's something I learned this week: Globe and Mail There is a large section of links to discount codes and coupons for all types of companies. Here's a general travel discount page, but if you can't find the company you're looking for, try typing the company name into the search box at the top right of the travel coupons page. For example, the main travel page doesn't show anything for Air Canada, but a search for “Air Canada” brings up this page of airline discounts.

Toronto can be a big city that blows your mind. Luckily, Toronto blogger Christopher Rudder has created a great guide to 48 hours in Toronto.

Nothing is concrete yet, but Porter Airlines is considering adding flights from Ottawa to the Florida Gulf Coast, Las Vegas, California and the Caribbean, according to a CTV Ottawa story.

Did you know that less than four hours southwest of Ottawa, Seneca Falls, New York is home to the Women's Rights National Historical Park? Because Seneca Falls was the site of America's first women's rights convention in 1848. Today you can see the church where the meeting took place, visit the home of leading suffragist Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and learn more at the park's visitor center. A History of American Feminism.
