Two 18-year-old men have been charged with shooting at a residence in Laval

LAVAL – Two suspects appeared via video conference at the Laval Palace of Justice on Saturday afternoon in connection with a shooting at a residence on Rue des Nenuphars in the Ste-Dorothe neighborhood of Laval.

Two men, Bonyad Ghulam Ali and Adam Hamouchi, were arrested last night in Laval by the Metropolitan Police Service and the Major Crimes Unit of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) shortly after the incident.

“On the night of April 13, around midnight, two suspects opened fire at a residence on Rue Nenuphar in Laval before fleeing in a vehicle,” said Stephane Tremblay, SQ spokesperson. “They were quickly located and arrested by officers of the Laval Police Department.”

The SQ said no one was injured in the incident and police seized firearms from the vehicle used by the suspects.

Bonyad Ghulam Ali and Adam Hamouchi from Laval are 18 years old. Both have been in custody since being charged and convicted of firing a firearm.
