A stabbing incident on Main Street is under investigation

On Saturday, April 13, 2024, a serious stabbing occurred in the 600 block of Main Street and the Winnipeg Police Department immediately responded. The incident happened around 6:10 in the morning

Upon arrival, officers found an adult female with multiple injuries. The nature of the injuries indicated an assault with an edged weapon. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. His condition was later upgraded to stable.

The Major Crimes Unit has launched an investigation, which is ongoing. The circumstances of the incident are still unknown, the search for the criminal is underway.
