Based in Calgary, Virginia joined the CTV News Calgary team in August 2019 as a morning show reporter and news producer.

Virginia graduated from the University of Regina's Master of Journalism program in 2016. Her program focused on advanced investigative journalism, and she was able to focus her research on the socio-spatial impact of Saskatchewan's oil and gas industry.

He previously attended the University of Guelph, where he majored in English with a minor in geography.

Her career began in the field, in 2015 she interned as a video journalist at CTV News Regina. After four months of service, he was quickly hired as a weekend video journalist and web producer.

In 2017, Virginia moved to her hometown of Toronto to work as a web producer for CTV's national morning show. Later that year, he joined the CTV News Kitchener team as a writer and later became an assignment editor. He ended his time in Kitchener as a video journalist covering municipal politics.

Virginia is happy to live in Calgary. When he's not at work, he can usually be found walking his dog, Boots, in the Alberta Rockies.
