Winnipeg police responded to a series of violent stabbings on Main Street

WINNIPEG – NEWS – Early Saturday morning, April 13, 2024, Winnipeg Police were called to the scene of a violent stabbing in the 600 block of Main Street. Upon arrival at approximately 6:10 a.m., downtown patrol officers found an adult female with multiple stab wounds.

The victim was initially found in unstable condition but was rushed to a local hospital where his condition was later upgraded to stable.

The incident prompted a robust response from the Major Crime Squad, which is currently leading the ongoing investigation.

Authorities are urging anyone with surveillance footage or relevant information in the area to come forward to help with the investigation.
