The Canucks finished their road series against the Calgary Wranglers with a huge 3-1 win.

The Abbotsford Canucks host the Calgary Wranglers once again for their final game of the regular season, the Canucks come into this game having won their last 4 road games.

Zach Savchenko started between the pipes for the Canucks tonight, while Oskar Dansk was substituted for the Wranglers. The only change to the linebackers from last night, Elias Petterson is back as the team's No. 7 linebacker. Just like last night, Christian Wolanin and Guillaume Brisbois paired up, followed by Nick Cicek and Akito Hirose, as well as Matt Irwin and Filip Johansson.

Up front, there is no change to last night's attacking 11, with Aatu Rati, Max Sasson and Linus Karlsson starting things. Sheldon Dries continued to center Mark Gatcombe and Tristen Nielsen, while Aidan McDonough and Arshdeep Baines beat John Stevens. Holding the front row is the duo of Chase Wouters and Ty Glover.

The game got off to a hot start as the Wranglers were sent to the box just 59 seconds in, holding the Canucks up on their first power play of the game. They couldn't do it, but it ignited a spark under them and eventually Ty Glover scored the first goal of Mark Gatcombe's game. The Canucks took a 1 goal lead just over 6 minutes into the game. A pair of penalties were called on each team throughout the period, but neither had success that resulted in the puck crossing the goal line.

A slower second period with just one penalty each time, but eventually Rory Kerrins put the puck past Savchenko at the halfway point to tie the game at 1. Kerrins' 16th goal despite some close calls. season was the only goal in the second period.

Trying to avoid overtime, the Canucks kept pushing and pushing. Both teams were hoping to find it, but a cross-ice feed from Sheldon Dries allowed Tristen Nielsen to make his 15th of the season and put the Canucks up 2-1 with 10 minutes left. Following last night's game, the Canucks were up one and Calgary pulled their goalie with 3 minutes left in the final minute to tie the game. Linus Karlsson was lucky to catch the loose puck and send it into the empty net.

The Canucks took home 4 points this weekend with a huge 3-1 win over the Calgary Wranglers. They return home and play the Wranglers twice more to close out the regular season.
