Woman stabbed on Main Street: Winnipeg police

A woman is being treated in hospital after a stabbing incident early Saturday morning, Winnipeg police said.

Police said they were called to Main Street and Logan Avenue — near the Manwin Hotel — around 6:10 a.m. Officers found a woman suffering from an “assault with a pointed weapon”.

The victim was taken to the hospital in an unstable condition. His condition was later upgraded to stable.

The WPS Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
