The driver of a car that crashed into two light poles on Lakeshore Boulevard early Saturday morning was taken to the hospital with moderate, non-life-threatening injuries, paramedics said.

In a post on X, officially known as Twitter, police say the collision happened just after 6 a.m. in the area of ​​Lake Shore Boulevard and Jason Avenue. Light poles fell and blocked three westbound lanes of Lake Shore Boulevard, causing them to be temporarily closed while crews cleared the area.

The roads have since reopened.
