Defenseman Mark Giordano did not participate in Leafs practice this morning.

TSN's Mark Masters says Giordano will be absent when he plays. He was on the ice for practice yesterday after missing Saturday's game against Ottawa. He suffered the injury last Wednesday against the Dallas Stars.

“It was more important that he put his skates on and feel good,” head coach Sheldon Keefe said yesterday of Giordano's lower-body injury.

The Maple Leafs host the St. Louis Blues tonight.
