Community recreation welcomes everyone

Welcome Policy credit can be used to enroll in city recreation programs, including CampTO. Those receiving social assistance (Ontario Jobs) and living in Toronto are pre-approved for this loan and must speak to their case officer or apply online. Toronto residents with family income that meets the criteria can also apply. More information on criteria and how to apply, free programs and other subsidies for recreation programs can be found on the City's Welcome Policy webpage.

Many city recreation programs are adapted to meet the needs of people with disabilities. Classes are smaller, extra help is provided, and sometimes adaptive equipment is used to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and rewarding experience. More information can be found on the City's Accessible Recreation webpage: https://www.toronto.ca/city-government/access-person-rights/accessCity of Toronto/City-Servicefor disabled people/available-holiday/
