Woman attacked by dog ​​in Sue Higgins Park: police

Calgary police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who attacked a woman in a southeast park earlier this week.

At approximately 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, a woman was walking her dog on the north side of Sue Higgins Park. His dog was attacked by an unknown person's dog. After that, there was a controversy in the press release on Friday.

The woman allegedly attempted to record the interaction before the man grabbed the phone from her hand and pushed her to the ground, police said.

The report said the woman screamed and the man threw his phone over the fence before taking off in an unknown direction.

He received medical attention and reported the incident to the police the next day.

Police describe the suspect as light-skinned, about 50 years old, about 5'8-6' tall, of slim build, with short black and gray hair. He was last seen wearing sunglasses, a baseball cap, brown khaki pants and gray joggers.

Police do not have a photo of the suspect, but are releasing a photo of the suspect's dog in hopes of identifying him.
