This interview was originally conducted on January 30, 2024. The questions and answers have been edited to be clear and concise.

How has Arber affected you over the past two years? Did seeing his sudden rise boost your confidence or open your eyes to what's possible?

Yes, 100%. I always looked up to him as a role model. We've had very similar paths, and seeing what he's doing and what he's doing, playing in the NHL now, it's really motivating. I definitely think I'll follow in his footsteps and play with him one day.

Your offensive production is up significantly from last season. What has been the biggest difference for you on that side of the ice?

I just think I have confidence and another year under my belt. Last year was my first year, I'm just taking it all in and finding my role. This year I know my role. I was able to attack more with the power play. So, take it all in and that too comes with confidence.
