Bright ideas on display at the first science fair of the John Cabot Academy in Montreal

Experiments, data analysis and research were done by dozens of elementary students at Montreal's John Cabot Academy on Friday for the first-ever science and STEAM fair.

Students in grades four through six showcased their science discoveries and creations in the school gymnasium — projects they've been working on for nearly three months with science teacher Alex Rosauri.

“I think it's a good introduction for students,” Rosauri said. “Once they get into high school, they'll have a solid foundation.”

During the fair, the school will welcome chemist Yannick Bergeron, who will organize a science show for all visitors.

The mind-blowing event is open to the community from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
