Hanyang Korean restaurant opens in Calgary

A new place serving authentic Korean food has opened in Calgary – Hanyang Korean Restaurant.

Hanyang opened its doors at 7400 Macleod Trail SE and is a must-visit if you like Korean food.

Named after South Korea's capital, Joseon, the restaurant serves classic Korean dishes and soups.

One of its signature dishes is Gukbap, a clear, hot soup of vegetables and meat served with rice.

Along with soups, favorites include seafood pajeon (pancakes), bulgogi stew wrapped in meat and glass noodles, japcha, and LA galbi, made with grilled marinated beef short ribs. Each dish comes with fresh rice.

Hanyang Korean Restaurant is open daily from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
